Live Cell Imaging System

Optical Microscope

We provided conventional optical microscope for standard live cell image
monitoring. Generally cells are slightly heavier than water, it is submerged down on
air permeable membrane. So we place object lens, light and CCD camera on down
side of culture chamber. Almost all of our chamber has very thin sight glass up and
down side together for live cell imaging system. You can see live cell image through
CCD camera on LCD display of equipment or even on your computer remotely.

Laser Scan Confocal Microscope

We developed and adapted this new Laser scanning confocal microscope for
our micro bioreactor system. Just like a Laser printer, small spot of Laser
beam is rastered on object cell and reflected to sensor to reconstruct
magnified image. For rastering Laser beam, we adopt patent pending optical
fiber oscillation system. This new simple mechanism can provide relatively
slow image capture rate, but enough for cell culture system. You can greatly
enhance image quality, if you use our fluorescent magnetic nano-particles.

All-in-One Semiconductor Bio-sensor

We developed our own all-in-one semiconductor bio-sensor which has ISFET pH, DO and temperature sensor inside. This thin and small dimension sensor can give exact cell scale and cell adjacent data. Conventional Clark style sensor cannot provide this kind of real data, rigidity and multiplex capability.

Generally in case of animal cell cultivation, agitation and aeration may cause severe damage on cell. Specially in-vivo stem cell divide themselves in laminar flow environment. There must not be any kind of physical movement, shock and chemical blocks of nutrients flow. This small and all-in-one sensor may satisfy all those requirement.
We have a capability to design ISFET, TR, Diode and small size semiconductor circuit.
